Social Studies Instructional Coach

  • Coach, support, and develop the instructional practice of  Social Studies teachers, in grades 9-12. 

  • Develop and implement professional development sessions for educators to support school-wide initiatives and teacher development. 

  • Collaborate with the school's administrative team as part of the Academic Leadership Team to analyze, plan, and implement school-wide initiatives to improve instruction, student achievement, and implementation of SEL action steps.

Social Studies Teacher, Academy Director

  • Plans and develops lessons and activities for Social Studies elective courses – Law & Justice Advocacy, Constitutional Law, Youth Justice, Street Law, Human Rights and Social Action. 

  • Designs programming and educational opportunities for 130 academy students who want to pursue a career in law, policy, or justice.
